Levofloxacin 250mg
INDICATIONS
Acute maxillary sinusitis
Gastro intestinal infections
Nosocomial pneumonia & CAP
Complicated & uncomplicated UTI & SSTI
Monotherapy is safe and effective regimen against most gram-negative and gram-positive pathogens, including pseudomonas aeruginosa
Levofloxacin (250 mg and 500 mg) OD is effective & well tolerated in treatment of AECB in adult patients
OD dose is effective and better tolerated than amoxicillin-claulanate administered 3 times daily for treting acute sinusitis.
Once daliy dose is as effective as ciprofloxacin twice daliy dose.
