Increases the production of mucus & makes phlegm less sticky & thinner helping cilia transport the phlegm out of the lungs.
GUAIPHENESIN
Act as an expectorant by increasing the volume and reducing the viscosity of secretions in the trachea and bronchi.
Effective in the treatment of the thickened bronchial mucosa, draws water into the bronchi facilitating the removal of mucus by coughing.
MENTHOL
Soothes throat & reduces irritation and also acts decongestant.
